Referral and Connection Service

The Network is a referral and connection service. It reviews homeowner requests and, when appropriate, offers a request to one eligible trade partner at a time. The Network does not blast a lead to multiple partners, run a bidding marketplace, or sell paid placement in the matching order. Submitting a request does not guarantee that a partner will be available, accept the referral, offer a particular price, or achieve a particular outcome.

Independent Trade Partners

Trade partners are independent businesses. They are not employees, agents, joint venturers, or representatives of the Network. Each partner controls its own schedule, pricing, crew, tools, methods, licenses, permits, taxes, insurance, and business decisions.

Unless the Network expressly agrees otherwise in writing, the homeowner and selected partner are solely responsible for their contract and for scope, estimates, pricing, deposits, payment, materials, scheduling, permits, warranties, workmanship, safety, changes, completion, and job performance. Homeowners pay the selected partner directly.

Trade Partner Responsibilities

Trade partners must provide truthful information and keep their profile, contact details, service area, licenses, credentials, and insurance accurate and current. They must comply with applicable laws and professional obligations, use homeowner information only to serve the accepted referral, and cooperate with referral response deadlines, customer follow-up, job-status updates, complaints and resolution efforts, and required fee and completed-job reporting. Additional signed partner agreements and the fee schedule in effect for a referral may also apply.

SMS / Messaging Terms

Users and approved trade partners may choose to receive operational text messages from The Go-To Guy Network. Messages may include referral notifications, referral response reminders, and job-progress reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

• Consent to SMS is optional and is not a condition of joining the Network, receiving referrals, purchasing services, or using the service.
• Reply STOP to opt out.
• Reply HELP for help, or call (210) 394-5516.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• You are responsible for providing a valid mobile number and notifying the Network if the number changes or is reassigned.

Acceptable Use

You may use the website and service only for lawful, genuine purposes. You may not submit false or misleading information, impersonate another person or business, misuse homeowner or partner information, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, upload harmful material, harass others, or use the Network for spam, fraud, unlawful discrimination, or other illegal activity.

Accounts, Suspension, and Removal

You are responsible for safeguarding your account and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized use. The Network may restrict, suspend, or terminate access, pause referrals, or remove a partner when information is inaccurate or outdated, required credentials or insurance are missing or expired, fees or reporting obligations are unresolved, conduct presents a safety or trust concern, these terms are violated, or action is reasonably needed to protect users or the service. Either party may end the relationship, but obligations already incurred may survive.

Disclaimers and Limits

The Network does not guarantee the availability, identity, licensing status, fitness, pricing, reliability, conduct, workmanship, timing, safety, or outcome of any partner or project. The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Users should review estimates, credentials, insurance, contracts, and project requirements and make their own hiring and business decisions.

To the extent permitted by Texas law, the Network is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the service or from a homeowner-partner relationship. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes, Effective Date, and Texas Law

We may update these terms as the Network changes. The current version will be posted here with its effective date. Material partner terms may also be versioned and presented for renewed acceptance. These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, subject to applicable law and final review by Texas legal counsel.
